1. How to request deletion
Mindlab Coaches does not currently offer a self-service account-deletion tool. To request deletion of your personal data, email privacy@mindlabcoaches.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
You can send the request from any email address, but requests are processed against the account that matches the identifying information you provide, so please write from your account email where possible. If you cannot access that account, say so in your request and we will explain the verification options available.
2. What to include in your request
So we can locate your records, please include:
- the email address of your Mindlab Coaches account;
- if relevant to your request, the name of the Facebook or Instagram account or Page you connected to the Platform; and
- any other detail that helps us identify you, such as the name on your profile.
3. Identity verification
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a deletion request, so that personal data is not deleted by someone impersonating you. Where verification is required, we will tell you what is needed and will not process the request until it is complete.
4. What we delete
Once a request is verified, we will delete or de-identify the personal data we hold about you that we are not required to retain. This includes:
- your account and profile data;
- where applicable, disconnecting and revoking stored third-party social credentials and tokens — including any Facebook, Instagram, calendar or video-conferencing connections — so they can no longer be used;
- connected social account metadata that is no longer needed to operate your account or comply with law; and
- your messages, bookings, matching responses and progress records, subject to the retention described below.
5. What we may retain
Some records may be retained where legally required, or where retention is necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax and accounting, security, or regulatory compliance. Retained records are kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes and are otherwise protected and, where practical, de-identified. Retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Timing
We handle deletion requests within the time required by applicable law, and we aim to confirm completion to you once processing is finished.
